Four accomplished guitarists come together for a fluid evening of on stage collaboration, improvisation and solo features. The quartet brings together their many years of guitar prowess for an evening of jazz guitar in the round - at any time 1, 2, or all 4 of them will take the stage for a wonderful evening of jazz guitar sound. The quartet includes........

Billboard Magazine award recipient Laurie Dameron is extremely versatile and includes selections from folk, instrumental, pop, country, blues, and jazz that allow her to play a variety of venues and has been playing the guitar for over 40 years. Between solo performances and performances with her band, Laurie D and the Blues Babes, she has performed for hundreds of venues in and out of Colorado.

Jane E Lemmers successfully combines guitar riffs from blues, jazz, and folk styles in an acoustic singer-songwriter blend. Jane has performed all across the United States as a solo artist and has done guest appearances with Chuck Pyle, Duncan Tuck, and Bob Turner. Career highlights include an impromptu jam session in Boulder, Colorado with finger style wizard Tuck Andress.

Robert Eldridge originally hails from Charleston, WV. Playing guitar for over 20 years in various bands, Robert considers his solo style of guitar as "self-described, thought-provoking style of instrumentals called eclectic and mental guitar music." He has been featured on NPR, PBS, and various CD samplers throughtout the world.

Eric Roberts is an accomplished guitarist and bassist as well as composer, and has been playing professionally since the age of 16. Eric's own original music encompasses a variety of musical influences from Paul Winter and David Darling to Ralph Towner, Eberhard Weber and Pat Metheny as well as the music of Brazil. His own unique sound comes from a melding of instruments -- from the classical guitar, acoustic bass and guitar synthesizer to the mandolin and the bandura (a Ukrainian instrument akin to the harp).

Spunky presents a very special show

HALDEN WOFFORD AND THE HI-BEAMS’ classic style of honky tonk has a language and culture all to itself, but only takes one quick lesson to learn how to love for a lifetime. The twang of the steel guitar, snap of the snare drum, thump of the stand-up bass and rippin’ electric guitar solos mix with Wofford’s distinctive vocals to create a sound that is familiar yet purely original.

Ringing out all along the Front Range of Colorado and beyond, including an appearance on the acclaimed A Prairie Home Companion program, Wofford’s wavering tenor conjures up images of Hank Williams Sr., Buddy Holly and Bob Wills. But while Wofford and his creative powerhouse of talented musicians are committed to playing real country music, they don’t stick just to the old, time-tested favorites. The band’s long collection of original tunes accompanies a handful of familiar crowd-pleasers to create a bulging repertoire of good music.

Supporting  will be HILLBILLY INFERNO, a new collaborative project in the Mile High City featuring three consummate performers in the acoustic scene and beyond: Keith Frankel on banjo, Chris "Citrus" Sauthoff on guitar and Julie Gussaroff on mandolin and vocals. A mixture of old-time, newgrass, folk and even funk and Hindustani, this is their debut show!

All three are on the faculty for the esteemed Swallow Hill Julie Davis School of Music in south Denver. Julie grew up in New York, surrounded by a musical family, and has worked with and learned from some of the best in the business, like Mike Marshall. Keith, a protege of Tony Trischka, is one of Colorado's .brightest banjo players. Citrus is most widely known as a former touring member of George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic, as well as his own funk/hip hop/rock band, U.S. Pipe and the famous '90s-era funk band, Lord of Word and the Disciples of Bass.
